Behind the Scenes

Two weeks ago Cory Chisel shot a video in Nashville, TN for his premiere song "Born Again". Joined by fellow co-writer Brendan Benson, and Patrick Keeler from The Raconteurs who both played on Cory's album "Death Won't Send a Letter", the video comes together to debut Cory and the theme of his album.

Set in a Baptist church, Cory performs for a mix of characters who at first look unamused. The video cuts to shots of Benson dressed as a priest running a bath in order to baptize anyone who wants to be "Born Again".

As the video continues, the song livens up along with the church members. A big dance party begins to break lose, while shots of bread, red wine, crosses, and Cory with singer Ade walking through a graveyard are shown.

The irony of his song is portrayed beautifully through humorous, yet gorgeous cinematography.
