Vinyl Grows in Brooklyn

Kemado Records, one of our favorite New York labels, has opened a Vinyl shop/recording studio in Brooklyn. Along with it's imprint Mexican Summers, Co-Op 87 opened during CMJ last week. This small store sells their own roster's vinyl, as well as some artists distributed through other New York indie labels. The store also includes a recording studio, which uses a hybrid analog-digital system. This studio is open for other bands to rent out, but is designated for Kemado's own bands. During this years CMJ, Kemado's artists showcases were recorded live in order to be released later on. Small Black, as shown above, were one of the artists first to play at the shop.
